BOSCH 1617EVS Electronic Fixed-Base Router with Variable Speed Motor

The Bosch 1617EVS wood router tool kit is a 12-amp, 2 1/4 Horsepower fixed-base hand router with 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch collets. Encased in a hard plastic case, the router is double insulated for added durability. The FIXED BASE features threaded holes for mounting to a router table, positioned in a common 3-hole pattern, and includes the RA1161 fixed-base with a system for adjusting the bit height from above the table.

The router's DURABILITY is enhanced by its aluminum construction, making it one of Bosch's most durable wood routers. The fixed base has wooden handles, while the plunge base features a soft-grip handle, ensuring a comfortable and controlled user experience.

The EASE OF USE is further improved through the rounded hardwood handles, which maximize user control, and the microfine bit-depth adjustment feature.

The CONVENIENT constant response circuitry built into the 1617EVS wood router helps maintain a constant speed throughout the cutting process, resulting in cleaner and more accurate results.

The 12-AMP MOTOR and ADJUSTABLE SPEED DIAL allow the user to set the optimal speed, ranging from 8,000 to 25,000 RPM, for more or less power as needed.

The TEMPLATE GUIDE feature is compatible with the optional RA1129 template guide adapter set, enabling easy changes of Bosch quick-release template guides and common threaded template guides. The router includes the RA1126 template guide adapter and the RA1100 interface for threaded template guides.

The kit INCLUDES a fixed base, 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch collet chucks, a shaft wrench, a collet nut wrench, chip shields, a T-handle hex height adjustment wrench, and three 10-24 screws for table mounting.
