The 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Blower Kit (XBU03SM1) is a perfect solution for clean-up applications, offering zero emissions and lower noise. This blower is powered by the 18V LXT battery, which also powers the expanding LXT system. With a compact and ergonomic design, it weighs only 6.5 lbs. and measures 32-1/2” long. The Makita BL Brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently, with speeds up to 116 MPH air velocity and a full 459 CFM, thanks to the lack of carbon brushes. The efficient motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per battery charge than similar non-brushless tools. It also features electronic controls to match the changing demands of the application for increased power and speed when needed, with a cruise control lever for power and run time management. The XBU03SM1 also includes Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) - a protective seal that channels water and dust from key internal components for improved operation in harsh conditions.
