Quantum CNC Router Kit with Makita Router (24 x 24 cutting area, 3.8 Z travel)

To complete this CNC kit, you will need a computer, router bits, and software. The kit includes a rigid laser-cut 5-Ply Baltic Birch frame with an SG20U supported rail system. The X and Y-axes are driven by a GT2 9mm belt, while the Z-axis uses a Tr8 Acme Rod mounted with an ACME Nut. NEMA 17 Stepper Motors and Home switches are included on all axes, along with a Self-Squaring Gantry.

The CNC will connect to your computer's USB Cable and run gcode created with your software. The kit includes a 1/2" MDF spoilboard with an aluminum T-Slot and the Makita RT0701C Variable Speed Router. The CNC is designed to use GRBL1.1 firmware on the Arduino Uno, with a repeatability of 0.002" to 0.004".
