Makita XAD05Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Right Angle Drill

The Makita 18V LXT® Brushless ½” Right Angle Drill (XAD05Z, tool only) provides cordless drilling speed and freedom from the cord. It is capable of handling demanding applications such as drilling up to 5” holes with hole saws and 2-9/16” holes with self-feed bits. The XAD05 has a wide range of features designed to deliver superior speed and efficiency. Its brushless motor and two-speed transmission offer no-load speeds of 0-450 RPM and 0-1,400 RPM for maximum productivity.

The drill also provides a long run time, delivering up to 105 1-1/2" holes per charge in 2x SPF lumber using one 18V LXT 5.0Ah Battery and a self-feed bit (sold separately). Additional features include a metal gear housing for durability, an electric brake, and dual L.E.D. lights to illuminate the work area. A side handle is included which can be attached to either side of the tool.

The drill is equipped with a Makita-built brushless motor with two-speed, variable speed (0-450 RPM and 0-1,400 RPM) for maximum efficiency and a wide range of drilling applications. It weighs only 7.6 lbs. with a battery and features a slim barrel design for reduced operator fatigue (battery not included). The drill can drill up to 200 7/8" holes in 2X SPF with a 5.0Ah battery (battery and bit not included) and is capable of drilling up to 5" holes with hole saws and 2-9/16" holes with self-feed bits. It also includes a built-in L.E.D light with pre-glow and afterglow to illuminate the work area.
